This is a 2006 Factory Five IRS Roadster. This modernized Cobra has a ProModularPerformance professionally-built 306 (.030 over 302) with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, MSD ignition, Holley 670 cfm 4150 series carburetor with electric choke and vacuum secondaries, serpentine belt with billet pulleys, polished 1-wire alternator, polished Edelbrock air-gap dual plane intake manifold, and ARP fasteners. A remote oil filter is installed, with an authentic Mocal oil cooler in the chin opening and custom-fabricated aluminum shrouds for the oil cooler and radiator. The cooling system incorporates a fabricated aluminum overflow tank. This vehicle rides nicely due to the independent rear suspension option, using an 8.8" Ford third member with a 3.27 axle ratio. This ratio along with the Treme five-speed mid-shift transmission yields 60mph at 1750 RPM in fifth gear (68 overdrive). Polished Cobra-R style SVT wheels are 17 x 9 inches front and rear. Tires are Nitto NT555's, size 275/40 ZR17 rear and 245/45 ZR17 front. Front brakes are Ford Performance Cobra calipers on Brembo rotors. Rear brakes are 91 T-bird calipers. All control arms are tubular steel - Forte front lowers and the rest are Factory Five. A bump-steer kit is installed. Coil-over shocks are PRO brand. The frame is powdercoated by Factory Five. The headers and side-pipes are Jet-hot coated, and the side pipes include Mike Francuck heat shields. Gauges are the Autometer Pro-Comp series. The interior and trunk are fully carpeted, and with Factory Five Street Performer seats. The e-brake was installed in a more convenient location on the right side of the tunnel instead of the floor and is accessible even when the driver is fully strapped into the 4-point Simpson harness. Chrome roll bars for driver and passenger sides are installed.
