Presenting this extremely rare 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet Turbo-Look, s/n 151737 in Chiffon White with a Brown Convertible Top over a Grey-Beige leather interior with 140,047 miles.  Built as a European model for Germany, this 911 is powered by a 3.2L engine producing 231 hp through a 5-speed manual transmission.  An engine compression test was performed in 2014, 1k miles ago, which resulted in excellent, consistent cylinder results of 150, 155, 157, 150, 155, and 155 respectively.  A complete tune-up was performed at that time as well at a cost of just over $4k.  

According to historical records, Porsche built a total of 423 Turbo Look cars for the 1984 model year.  Of those, only 2 cars were Cabriolet convertibles including this one, with a production completion date of 09/05/1984.  Some of the very earliest Turbo-Look cabriolets, in fact, were not even listed with I491 option codes on the internal Cardex data sheets, and were instead built through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch exclusive, special-request program for the West Germany market (country code C00).  From model year 1985, they received the 491 option code.  These Wide-Body, Turbo-Look cars received several cosmetic upgrades from the Turbo body including:
